Eight partners from 6 European countries are working together to analyse job market in the field of e-Tourism.

Five emerging e-Tourism European Specialist Profiles (EUSP) have been issued pointing out the most important competences. The objectives of these Role Profiles are based on the e-Competence Framework, (e-CF), issued by the European Committee for Normalisation (CEN). The Role Profiles describe in detail the knowledge, skills and competences which need to be acquired, in order to capacitate professionals for job positions in the e-Tourism field.

Presenting Role Profiles as functions and not as job positions is an important issue allowing to scan the whole professional field, which would have not been possible by considering those as job positions. The market structure is mainly done with SMEs where tasks and functions are more transversal and where professionals have to fulfill different functions in the organisations.

We would like to receive your feedback on these Role Profiles to validate or to modify/ adapt them according to your recommendations.
