Exploring chatbots to empower interactions with the tourists - an interactive workshop
Chatbots offer new ways to empower the interactions with tourists. These tools are based on technologies allowing several communication methods: Text, Images, Pictures, Audio, Documents, Contacts and Location. Some possibilities to ease and improve the interactions with tourists are obvious, like sending the phone number of a hotel, giving last minute information about the road accessibility or even providing a copy of the hotel confirmation on the go. But possibilities goes far beyond this and are only limited by our imagination. The first part of the workshop will be about the presentation of platforms and core concepts of chatbots technologies. In a second part groups will be formed to do a brainstorming of innovative tourism ideas and how they can be implemented through chatbots. A final discussion of all these ideas will be closing the workshop.
