Anne Mellano Koymans

Anne Mellano graduated from EPFL in July 2012 with a Master's in Civil Engineering with specialization in the field of transportation. Anne has worked in an urban planning office in Lausanne as a Transport Engineer. Her responsibilities there included the project management of two European projects on the development of innovative transport systems. Anne has been awarded the best Women's Project prize at the alpICT Venture Night in Geneva (part of the LIFT Conference - February 2015) for her role in BestMile. BestMile is revolutionizing mobility by providing the first platform allowing for the intelligent operation and optimization of autonomous vehicle fleets, regardless of their brand or type. Using cutting-edge algorithms, the platform sends optimized missions to the vehicles and seamlessly handles planning, dispatching, routing, and battery charging management. BestMile also provides both front-end and back-end interfaces for operators and passengers, such as mobile and web applications.
