Am 31. Mai 2012 organisierte  die Dienststelle für Wirtschaftsentwicklung zusammen mit Wallis Tourismus den ersten Walliser Ferienwohnungstag. Zum Abschluss der Veranstaltung wurde eine Diskussionsrunde mit allen Referenten und Vertretern aus zwei FeWo-Vermieteragenturen (Grimentz und Zermatt) unter der Leitung von Pierre-Alain Steiner von Canal9 durchgeführt.

Am 31. Mai 2012 organisierte die Dienststelle für Wirtschaftsentwicklung zusammen mit Wallis Tourismus den ersten Walliser Ferienwohnungstag. Ein Thema, welches insbesondere auch in Zusammenhang mit der Annahme der Zweitwohnungsinitiative vom 11. März dieses Jahres von Aktualität ist. Ziele der Veranstaltung waren, so Eric Bianco von der Dienststelle für Wirtschaftsentwicklung, dass die verschiedenen Akteure Gelegenheit haben, sich auszutauschen, Erwartungen zu formulieren und zu diskutieren und generell eine Qualitätsoffensive im Bereich der Ferienwohnungen zu starten. Um die Bedürfnisse der verschiedenen Akteure besser zu erfassen, können die Teilnehmenden an einer online-Umfrage teilnehmen. Urs Zenhäusern, Direktor von Wallis Tourismus, zeigte anhand einiger Zahlen und Fakten auf, wie wichtig die Ferienwohnungen für den Tourismus im Kanton Wallis sind. [PDF_D / PDF_F]
