Roland Schegg
Dr. Roland Schegg is a research officer and professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Valais (HES-SO Valais), Sierre, Switzerland. He teaches tourism in the bachelor programm of the Swiss School of Tourism and is research coordinator of the Institute of Tourism (ITO). Between 2000 and 2004, he was with the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). He earned his BS from the Swiss Federal Institute for Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) and his PhD from the University of Geneva. His research interests include eTourism (social media, website benchmarking), eService metrics, technology adoption and sustainable development such as saving energy in tourism.
Blaise Larpin
Blaise Larpin is research associate at the Institute of Tourism (ITO) of the University of Applied Science in Valais (HES-SO Valais). He earned is MAS in political sciences at the University of Lausanne. He worked as research and teaching assistant both at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration and at the University of Lausanne. Since 2011, he teaches tourism at the Swiss School of Tourism in Sierre. His research interests include especially eTourism, Sustainable tourism, cultural tourism and tourism governance.
Michael Fux
Dr. Michael Fux arbeitet seit 2009 als Dozent und Projektleiter an der Fachhochschule Westschweiz Wallis. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der Nutzung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien in Marketing-, Verkauf- und Serviceprozessen im Tourismus. Seine Dissertation verfasste er zum Thema "CRM-Systeme in Tourismusdestinationen".

Blaise Crettol
Blaise Crettol est professeur à la HES-SO Valais depuis septembre 2005. Après l’obtention de son diplôme en microtechnique de l’EPFL, en juin 1996, il travaille durant trois ans dans un bureau d’ingénierie spécialisé dans l’automatisation industrielle. Il s’associe ensuite à son patron pour créer une start-up active dans le domaine de l’informatique embarquée. En parallèle au lancement de sa start-up, il obtient un executive master en « Management of Technology » dédié à l’entrepreneuriat et à l’innovation, délivré conjointement par l’EPFL, l’UNIL et la University of Texas at Austin. Aujourd’hui, ses domaines de recherche et d’enseignement se concentrent sur l’innovation, la création et la gestion d’entreprise, notamment à travers l’option « Business eXperience » proposée à des étudiants de dernière année dans diverses filières de la HES-SO. Il est également le correspondant valaisan du programme « Alliance », qui gère le transfert de technologie des hautes écoles vers les entreprises romandes.
Miriam Scaglione
Miriam Scaglione holds a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences, a M.Sc. in Statistics (University of Neuchâtel), a M.Sc. in Cognitive Sciences (EHSS, Paris); she is also certified in database (EPFL, Switzerland) and obtained a B.Sc. in Scientific Computing (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Astronomy (Buenos Aires). Until September 2004, she was professor and researcher at EHL and since October that year, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Tourism (former Institute of Economics & Tourism) of the University of Applied Sciences Valais, Switzerland. She also teaches Statistics and Fundamentals of tourism at the Swiss School of Tourism and gives a lecture on multivariate analysis in the Master’s degree course of the HES-SO. Her research interests include applied statistics and time series to tourism, the hospitality industry, transportation and technology diffusion in telecommunication, social networks and internet, especially Web 2.0. In 2011, she co-edited a special issue of the International Journal of Forecasting, devoted to Flash indicators.
Vincent Grezes
Vincent Grèzes, adjoint scientifique, est titulaire d’un master en intelligence économique et stratégique. Il intègre l’institut Entrepreneurship & Management de la HES-SO Valais en 2011 après avoir capitalisé des expériences professionnelles dans les domaines de la veille stratégique et des études de marchés. Ses activités principales de Ra&D sont orientées sur les thèmes de la veille, de la conception de business model et de l’open innovation. Il intervient également en filière Economie d’entreprise et sur différents mandats des instituts de recherche.
